WELCOME TO SAINT-DIDIER
Our village of 2000 inhabitants today nestles against the foothills of the Mounts of Vaucluse, near Mont Ventoux, in the heart of Provence.
To understand an area, you have first and foremost to observe it. Here, at Saint-Didier, we are privileged to see all the 362 ha of our commune at one glance, from several viewpoints.
Observe and discover a countryside, a patchwork of small fields, where mainly vineyards and cherry-trees mingle, and offer a show of colours changing according to the seasons ; observe and discover how this village has been built on both sides of a line which is “le Cours”, main street of the village ; observe and see these houses built decades ago, or the fountains which remind us of the importance of water in Provence and the intelligence of our ancesters who knew so well how to tame it. ; finally to observe and discover all the hidden treasures of our commune, from its heritage to its unequalled specialities.
So I invite you to discover a beautiful commune by means of this site and then by your five senses.
